Terms of Service

By accessing or using FilterNow, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). FilterNow is an anonymous messaging platform operated by 1001594900 Ontario Inc. (doing business as "FilterNow"), headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and Usage Policy. By using FilterNow you also agree to the Usage Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Eligibility

You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (generally 18 years of age in Ontario) to use FilterNow. By creating an account or using the service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Sender and Recipient Accounts

Recipients create anonymous profiles using non-identifying tags. Senders provide name and email address. Payment details may be required for larger messages. We collect and process this information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Acceptable Use and Anonymity

You agree not to:

• Attempt to de-anonymize recipients or circumvent anonymity features.
• Send spam, deceptive, misleading, or unlawful messages.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or harm others.
• Scrape or collect data beyond what is expressly provided.
• Use the platform for illegal, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Reverse-engineer or misuse the platform.

Messaging and Payments

Senders are responsible for message content. Messages expire after 14 days. Payments (when required) are processed securely by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable once sent.

Intellectual Property & Limitation of Liability

FilterNow is provided "as is". Our total liability is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or fees paid in the preceding 30 days, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing Law

Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, subject to any mandatory local consumer rights.

Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms with notice. You may close your account at any time.
